Forwarding a request from one of our policy owner/area manager. What I would like to be able to do is1) When I first assign a policy I would like to turn on ?recurring acknowledgements?.2) Whenever I edit a policy, at the start approval process step, I would like there to be a button thatsays something like ?Trigger recurring acknowledgements with this Edit? and a yes or no selection. This selection would determine whether or not recurring acknowledgements get triggered. Here is the problem that I am trying to solve. When recurring acknowledgements are on, EVERY edit triggers a notification. So, I send a policy through, it gets approved, and then we realize I actually spelled something wrong,or forgot a period. I go back in, fix that, and though no substantive edit was made, everyone whowas assigned the policy gets another one they have to acknowledge. I realize you can view changesand see it quickly, but it?s an extra, unnecessary, step.If I don?t have recurring acknowledgements on, I do the biannual review, and have to remember togo back in and reassign the procedure to everyone who should have acknowledged it the first time. Iknow we can build groups that could make this easier, but even those groups would need a lot ofmicromanaging.I think having this option to always have recurring acknowledgements on, and turn them off forminor changes, would be really helpful.jh
Optimizing Recurring Acknowledgements possibility
I use the Override feature to correct any editorials or grammatical errors. The override feature doesn’t create a new “version” - just edits the active one.

As noted above, using the override function does not trigger another acknowledgment assignment.
